The interface between cancer research and education is one of the priorities of the CRCM

Education in cancer on the campus is organized both within the Research and at the Professional axes of the Research in Oncology Education Program (Enseignement de Recherche en Oncologie) of Aix-Marseille Université at the Bachelor-Masters-Doctorate (Licence-Master-Doctorat) levels (see information about the teaching staff on the University website and on IPC website. These education programs are part of the Doctoral School for Life Sciences and Health (École Doctorale des Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé).

The CRCM is also associated with education programs  Bioinformatics ; Structural Biochemistry and Genomics and in Development and Immunology. See also Professional Masters in the Human Pathology (Masters Professionnels dans la mention Pathologie Humaine).

The CRCM welcomes Research Masters and Professional Masters students for their Masters 1 and/or Masters 2 internships and/or for their PhD thesis. One of the specificities of our campus is that it welcomes students from the Marseille Medical School (UFR for Medicine and Pharmacology), and from the Science University (Aix-Marseille Université), and from Marseille Schools of Engineers (see the list of the research teams that welcome students).

The students’ training is handled by the CRCM staff and it also includes a series of Keynote lectures (see the right column) which take place on the Campus.

20 Aix-Marseille Université staff scientists and 100  InsermCNRS and Institut Paoli Calmettes scientists and engineers take part in training programs at Aix-Marseille Université and at the CRCM.

The presence at the CRCM of University Professors  in the fields of oncology, pharmacology, hematology, immunology, cell therapy, clinical research and bioinformatics allow students to benefit from the main areas of research on Campus of  Institut Paoli Calmettes.
